FAQ

Is this a Forager clone?
Forager and Minecraft are huge inspirations for us. The initial concept for Tiny Frontiers was born from a love of Forager and a desire for an even deeper experience. We wanted to capture that addictive gameplay loop and expand on it with our own ideas.
Is a lot of the content directly from Minecraft?
As an early-development project, many systems are placeholders that will evolve over time. You'll definitely notice Minecraft's influence in some of our core systems, especially the inventory and UI. We believe clear and intuitive UI/UX is crucial for a great sandbox game, and we consider Minecraft's approach a masterclass in that regard.
Will the game support multiplayer?
While we've designed the game's architecture to support multiplayer from the ground up, it is not on our immediate roadmap. As this is our first major project using Godot, our focus is on delivering a solid and polished single-player experience first.
When will it be released?
We don't have a firm release date yet. However, our goal is to launch an Early Access version on Steam by the end of 2025.
Will the game be free?
The final Steam release will be a paid product. However, all development builds and demos available here on Itch.io will always remain free for you to play and test!
What platforms will the game be released on?
For now, we are targeting a PC release via Steam. We will consider other platforms after the initial launch.
